I am a passionate biker who loves the freedom of the open road. My adventures have been riding through this beautiful country of mine, New Zealand. With so many great roads to ride across both islands there is so much to explore, so make sure you keep up‐to‐date with these adventures.
My other hobby is photography so having a blog about motorbike road trips is a great way to combine my two passions.
My first bike was a Suzuki GN250, which I bought off my sister when I was 21 & she was heading off on her OE. I didn’t make the most of my bike at that stage so I didn’t have any real adventures on that bike. A number of years after my GN250, I bought a Kawasaki Ninja 250. After my Ninja, I moved onto a Yamaha R3.
I was one of those riders who stayed on their Learner’s licence for far too long & this was due to not taking up motorcycle riding in the way I do now.
What I am currently riding is a Honda CBR600RR, which is my dream bike & awesome to ride. However, I do have my eye on few other, types of bikes for offroad adventures.
